Golfers can now book online at www.poundridgegolf.com, via smartphone and tablet (using the same URL), or by calling the golf shop at (914)764-5771. Pound Ridge players can obtain updates on conditions, new items, photos, videos and more at the course’s Facebook page. Throughout the year, course officials will engage fans with trivia, contests, playing tips, golf instruction and more.

Located under an hour from New York City and minutes from White Plains, Stamford and Greenwich, Pound Ridge offers afternoon 18-hole rates starting at $120, seven days a week. Same day call-in or walk-up nine-hole rates starting at $65 are available on weekdays and weekends.

“We are excited to open our tee sheet a full two and a half months in advance of the peak season,” says owner Ken Wang. “Over the past five years, Pound Ridge has emerged as a true destination golf course which fortunately requires an extended booking window. Our flexible rates are designed for today’s busy golfer who is pressed for time, but also expects a world-class experience.”

Off-peak rates of $150 before 2 p.m. and $100 after remain in effect seven days a week through April 28. All rounds (peak and off) include a golf cart or pull cart; Pound Ridge yardage book; bottled water; player’s towel; and complimentary use of the driving range, chipping area and other practice facilities.

Five sets of tee boxes make it appealing to both novice and experienced players. The course also has three sets of tees rated for women, bearing the unmistakable touch of Alice Dye, Pete’s wife and an accomplished amateur champion.

Since opening in 2008, Pound Ridge has earned world-class accolades from Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, Golfweek, AskMen.com, Rolex and LINKS Magazine. It quickly emerged as a “destination golf course,” sought out by serious golfers collecting the world’s best golf experiences.
