Exotics Introduces E8 Game-Improvement Irons

(Batavia, IL) – The new Exotics E8 irons are engineered to deliver exceptional power and control featuring the deepest undercut cavity design to date. The dramatic cavity gives the E8 irons an incredibly hot, free-standing face, especially toward the bottom near the sole. The result is faster ball speed and more distance from a generously expanded sweet spot – and shots that wind up closer to the pin.

Exotics R&D team tailored the E8 irons for advanced weighting to help players square the club face at impact and provide better results on off-center hits. This was achieved by strategically placing two high-density tungsten weights low in the heel and toe of the iron. The weight placement utilizes enhanced toe weighting stabilizing the clubhead even on ball strikes off of the sweet spot. The combination of the tungsten weights and the deep undercut cavity create an increased moment of inertia that delivers faster ball speeds across the face for more distance, control, and forgiveness.

The cavity of the E8 iron contains a multi-material vibration-dampening insert that provides players with a softer feel at impact. Engineers customized the insert from a soft TPE and an Alloy blend married to the 431 stainless steel clubhead in a one-piece casting process. E8 irons deliver enhanced feel in a classic iron design.

Featuring a progressive set design, each iron is engineered for its specific task including center of gravity location, offset (progressive), blade length, face thickness and top line thickness to deliver the perfect blend of distance and accuracy.

The E8 irons carries Tour Edge’s lifetime warranty, 30-day play guarantee, and are projected to be in stores the beginning of October. Suggested retail: $599.99 4-AW KBS 90 Tour Steel, $799.99 4-PW UST Mamiya Recoil Graphite, $799.99 2x6 Combo 3, 4 hybrids/5-PW KBS 90 Steel, $899.99 265 Combo 3, 4 hybrids/5-PW UST Mamiya Recoil Graphite.
