EWGA Nominated for a 2014 DANDI Award

(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) - For 23 years, the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) has made an active commitment to embrace and welcome women into the game of golf. This year, EWGA is nominated for a DANDI award in the sports category for its Diversity and Inclusion efforts in welcoming more than 100,000 women into EWGA's golf community to experience golf and its accompanying attributes.

Founded in 2012, t he Diversity and Inclusion (DANDI) Awards celebrate and recognize organizations making a positive difference in working toward a more diverse and inclusive culture. Thirty-six companies are nominated in 12 diverse fields and honored at the annual DANDI Awards in December.

"This is a humbling honor for our organization to be nominated "says CEO Pam Swensen. "We have been helping women tee it up for success for more than two decades with the focus of inviting all women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and fun. Our golf community broke through the grass ceiling decades ago by creating a sense of belonging and purpose for women to learn and utilize this game to open doors for personal and professional success."

Previous winners in this category have included the NBA and NASCAR. The 2014 DANDI Award winners will be announced on Monday, December 1, 2014 in New York City, New York.
